When i first got my hands on this album i was asking myself if this is what the world needed, another occult metal band. However hailing from Sweden and with members that have played in acts such as Kaamos, Saturnalia Temple, Ofermod and so on it still got my attention. The music in itself is slow but melodic and atmospheric and creates an almost creepy hypnotic trance like mood. That particular eerie feeling is probably what the band wants to create and in that way it succeeds very well. They ad some minimalistic lyrics about Lovecraft and Satanism to there ritualistic and psychedelic music and managed to create quite an interesting and surprising album. Its only January so its still easy to say its been the strangest disc is have heard this year but i wouldn’t be surprised if by the end of the year it still on my top three list of surreal musical experience. This is not what i was expecting and i say that in a good way. It surprised me and if youre looking for an album with that breaths occult, strange and leaves you mystified then dont bother to look no further. Buy this one
