Bruce Fairbairn produced the follow up to Scorpions big hit “Crazy World”. However it didnt sell as the previous album and there are many differences between the two. “Crazy World” included melodic tunes that were made for radio while “Face The Heat” was a much heavier album. Some Scorpions fans says this is noisy metal with too much screaming. I cant agree more. You have tracks like Woman and Under The Same Sun that can be on any Best Ballads album but then you have the amazing opening track “Alien Nation” which probably is among the best and heaviest tracks the band has done in ages. To me this is still a worthy Scorpions disc to own in any record collection
