Sweet Creature is an exciting new hard rock band fronted by Martin Sweet, best known as lead guitarist for Swedish sleaze rockers CrashDiet. The bands debut album “The Devil Knows My Name” was released on Dïet Records, a label started by the members of CrashDiet. “This is a collection of high energy rock songs written mostly on my own. The theme turned out to be quite dark and personal lyrically, which my not come as a surprise considering the turbulent history of CrashDiet. Some of the songs were written quite some years back and will now finally see the light of day,” says Martin. The self-produced album was engineered and mixed by guitarist Linus Nirbrant , a studio technician and death metal guitarist. The two has a long history of writing and recording together. Sweet Creature was originally an experiment that began in 2014 with the goal of recording a simple four-song EP. The project, however, was so gratifying for the two that the decision to make an album and form a new band was inevitable.
