Rare release on black cassette with paper label.
AiV is one of those labels that not many have heard of. My guess is that its a Polish label as Poland at the time were one the countries in the world that had the most record labels in the world that only released cassettes. Ofcourse AiV could also be from a country such as Russia or Bulgaria. The few releases I have seen comes with printed paper labels. The catalogue numbers have been between 400 and 500 but I have seen so few that it makes me wonder if the label actually released that many. Anyone out there with more information, please share.
For Flick Of The Switch, Ac/dc jettisoned producer Mutt Lange in an attempt to recapture the rawness and simplicity of their early records. While they more or less succeed in terms of the record’s sound, and show more energy than on the preceding For Those About to Rock We Salute You, the songs themselves suffer Ac/dc’s music has always been simple, but here it sounds underdeveloped and unmemorable. The band at this point seemed to be running out of ideas at an alarming rate, and their record sales began to reflect that fact.
