Vegan, straight edge Hardcore with a mix of both death and black metal with female vocalist. Two years after their 2005 debut, ‘Earth.Revolt’, comes their sophomore set, ‘Wolves’, which sees part-time vocalist Sabine Weniger signed on full-time. Weniger's melodic vocals are split evenly with Godzilla growler Johannes Prem throughout, with the album opener, ‘World Domination’, being a prime example of the Deadlock sound. But there's not much metallic groundbreaking going on here, just a whole lot of riffing and precise double bass drumming, in addition to Weniger and Prem's alternating vocals, which isn't much different from the boatload of other similarly styled metal acts on the scene.
