The Southern rock band Blackberry Smoke from Atlanta, Georgia recorded live at the Montage Mountain in Usa on August 10th 2012. The first ever live album from Blackberry Smoke is basically a board tape but if you are a fan you should get it. This is a real live recording and the band were out promoting The Whippoorwill album and most of the set is from that album. The band is often compared to the giants Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers Band but traces of early Black Crowes and Georgia Satellites can also be heard. Blackberry Smoke dont waste a lot of time noodling but these guys can jam. If you like classic southern rock then this is for you. The guitar work, vocals, and drums yield a very unique sound.
