Lebanon isn’t exactly the first country you think of as a Metal-producing nation, but the good thing about Metal is that it doesn’t let itself be stopped by borders or boundaries of any kind. Kimaera, hailing from the Lebanese capital of Beirut, debut album, Ebony Veiled, was released after six years of existence. In one way this is an unique album in a certain way, features the best of what a band has to offer; filled with many great elements, combining melodic guitar harmonies with harsh and clean vocals perfectly, creating a gloomy atmosphere.This is doom death where most of the tracks features dual vocals, male and female; with the male vocals dominating the beautiful female clean vocals of Sabine; unfortunately she’s no longer part of the band. If youre into atmospheric doom death that deals with sorrow and death in a beautiful poetic way then why not try something from Lebanon.
