Description
Lock up your daughter – your liquor too
Touched from Lancashire, UK released two obscure albums on the cult label Ebony Records and then disappeared without ever getting the chance to release their third album that would be called Waste Yourself. They arrived in the Nwobhm boom and are called an NWOBHM act but they are also influenced of what the Americans were doing at the time. The vocalist sings and shouts aggressively at times, much like Paul Di’Anno (Iron Maiden) while he reminds you of Steve Grimmett (Grim Reaper) at others. Their second and final album, Death Row, has more glam influences than their debut. Early Twisted Sister, early Motley Crue, Diannos Battlezone together with was happening in the Uk at the same time is definitely an interesting molding of influences. The band does the same mix of songs as on their debut, some glam, some slower and then an energetic burner ala Nothin To Lose on their debut. This time its called Power Point, a fast paced heavy metal track that. Its the opening track on the album. So try to find that one on the web and give it a spin. If you dont like that then this album isnt for you as that’s about as good as it gets on this album. Fans of NWOBHM should of course check this out.
