First there was Kiss. Then there was Creature. One became a phenomenon that made into the Rock N Rolls Hall Of Fame while the other remain totally unknown. The fact is that Creature was famous Kiss manager Bill Aucoin’s second attempt to recreate the magic that he manage to brough fourth with Kiss. Creature is a make-up wearing, sleazy hard rock band from underneath the streets of Los Angeles. The band not only wore make up they also had stage wear similair to what Kiss had at their Creatures Of The Night period and an over the top stage show with fire, smoke, bombs and confetti launchers. The group started in 1986 but called it a day in 1993 for the same reason that most other glam and metal acts had to put their instruments on the shelves, grunge came and killed everything else. To Boldly Sleaze features 15 tracks that has been rescued from the bands vault and among them we have the tracks Wicked Witch that aired on the MTVs Hollywood Bands as well as several other tracks that that were used in the Little Corey Gory movie. If youre interested in glam sleaze or just interested to hear what Bill Aucoin was working on after Kiss then try this out. The bands drummer, Johnny Lust, then worked at the Kiss Mini Golf in Las Vegas.
