Killer was formed in 1980 by Paul Shorty Van Camp (lead guitar and vocals) and Fat Leo (drums) after the split of their previous outfit: Mothers Of Track. Only 4 months after Killers formation a first record ‘Ready For Hell’ was recorded and released by major company WEA. The band then signed to Mausoleum records and released two more albums. However when Mausoleum hit financial problems and ceased to exist in the mid 80s then it was the beginning of the end for Killer. In 1987 Shorty released a solo album ‘Too Wild To Tame’ under the name Van Camp at CNR records. This album was in the best Killer tradition, but a lot more guitar orientated with long complicated songs & long flashing guitar solos. Track listing: 1. Overture 2. The Call Of The Nature 3.
