Description

American heavy metal act Killer Fox were formed as Killer Foxx in the mid-80s and they were famed for wearing overdrawn make-up and costumes that were very similar to Kiss. The band put out their first album ‘All You Can Eat’ through Landslide Records, an album that consists of terrifyingly bad sound and low musicianship. It however was soon re-released but then under the title ‘The Night’. Then Ingo Nowotny of the infamous Metal Enterprises got hold of the recording and released it again then under the title ‘Going Under’ and with the band name Killer Fox instead of Killer Foxx. Vivian and KK Fox were killed in an car accident by early 1987, which led to the end of the band but that didn’t stop Metal Enterprise to release more material with the band. Label boss Ingo brought in a bunch of studio musicians that had nothing to do with Killer Fox to record material. This material featured drum machines, spoken parts, strange sound effects and eerie screaming. This material was then divided into three parts and released as follow up albums under the band names of Killer Fox, Kalaschnikov and Thrash Queen. The so called second Killer Fox album got the title ‘Orgasm Of Death’ and Ingo also added an unused old band photo from the ‘Going Under’ photo session on the back cover. These stories, releases and terrible cover artworks make Metal Enterprises among the most strange and maybe worst hard rock and heavy metal labels ever Track listing: 1. Going Under 2. All You Can Eat 3. Funeral Pyre 4. Stand Together 5. Promised Land 6. Get To Your Feet 7. Kiss Of Death 8. The Night
