Black Rose – 95% recordings from King's first band re-released under his current moniker 20 years later. It's a really rough, rehearsal recording with no editing done to it and you can even here the band speak Danish in between the songs. This was a rehearsal that happened to get caught on tape. It was in Black Rose that the character King Diamond first came to light to include make-up, throwing pigs blood and pigs heads into the crowd as well as some other really over the top stage antics. The music on this disc is no way near the King Diamond solo material besides Kings unmistakable voice. Their bigger influences was 70s rock ala Deep Purple, Ufo and prog rockers like Uriah Heep and Pink Floyd.
