Disattack was a pre-Carcass band. They were formed in 1985 and they released one demo ‘A bomb drops’. This demo was recorded on the 26th and 27th of April 1986 at Station House studios. This was their only recording under the name Disattack, right after the release of the demo their bassist left the band and Jeff Walker joined them after leaving Electro Hippies and by that time they changed their name from Disattack to Carcass. Unlike the festering grindcore we all know for the early Carcass, A bomb drops recordings were metal edged crust with angry harsh vocals, midpaced and steady beat that sometimes gets a bit faster, a nice piece of standing very close to Deviated Instinct, Antisect and early Hellbastard.
