Description
The main program on ‘Call Of The East’ is a 1993 performance in Japan, recorded at Club Citta in Kawasaki on the 18th of April, which was about the only place in the world at that time that a band like Fair Warning could be guaranteed such a large and welcoming crowd. The band, in full-on "hair metal" appearance, seemed completely psyched to be playing there, and the crowd was just as enthusiastic. Since the concert occurred so early in the band's career, it only features songs from the self-titled debut album, plus a few Zeno tracks (Fair Warning was formed by ex-Zeno members) thrown in for good measure. The audio and video quality is top notch, as is the band's performance. They seem to understand that showmanship counts for a lot in this kind of music, and work the crowd (and the cameras) accordingly. Track listing: 1. Sunset (Intro) 2. Out On The Run 3.
