Nordverg band was found in Ekaterinburg City in Russia back in 2006 under the name of Dragons Tears. From the very beginning of the bands history the members were enchanted by fantasy themes and mystic history of Scandinavia especially lots of legends devoted to the famous northern warriors and seafarers The vikings. The band gets all their inspiration from the Scandinavian mythologies and the history of Vikings. Their life, their valour and their faith is the base of Nordvergs lyrics. Nordverg means North Way and its this way through snow-covered fjords, through the great battles and valour deeds that this famous men from the North had to go. This is also the way the members of Nordverg want you to go. Nordverg is Scandinavian-Slavonic folk metal with heavy and melodic guitars, mix of clean and growling with authentic instruments. Guest musicians on this debut album are Vladimir Reshetnikov of Arkona and Diana Timoschenko and Alexandr Starkov whove recorded ethnic instruments.
