Limited purple vinyl with gatefold cover The Wizar'd are a doom metal band from Tasmaniam Australia. They write songs in the tradition of old Black Sabbath, Witchfinder General, Pagan Altar, Manilla Road ,Angel Witch and Witchfynde. The Wizar'd aren't some crappy 60's occult magik rawk band or folk psychedlia train wreck dressed up as heavy metal. The Wizar'd are for metal heads only and with Ancient Tome Of Arcane Knowledge the band has really outdone themselves. Everything is improved, the musicianship, including the vocals, the production and especially the songs are much better than on the previous album.
