Mini cd replica of the legendary NWoBHM single from Soldier. Original artwork, layout design, and the same tracks like on the original single. Official reissue authorized by the band in a limited run of 500 copies only. Soldier is another one of those decent enough tier-3 or 4 NWOBHM bands that seems to get forgotten or overlooked by many people. Like swarms of others, Soldier formed in the boom-year of 1979, hailing from Northampton, and quickly set about furiously gigging alongside the plethora of competitors in the British metal scene of the early 80s. At the helm of Soldier was founding guitarist Ian Dick, along with vocalist Garry “Gaz” Phillips, whos hard work and incessant gigging in the British scene saw them apparently labelled as “Too Loud” by Kerrang magazine in interesting anecdote indeed. Anyway, Soldier called it quits in 83 after a string of fairly well-received minor releases like their classic Sheralee single and the two demo cassettes. Reforming as part of the resurgent neo-NWOBHM movement of the 2000.
