The “Anniversary 1986-2016” album features 13 tracks selected by Watain singer, Erik Danielsson. In one way its a good introduction to the band for newcomers and on the other hand its a best of album to sum up the first 30 years of the band and a good way to celebrate this anniversary. For old fans and collectors of the band they’ve have also chosen to ad one side of previously unreleased material which in this case is 3 live tracks recorded back in 2014 and a cover version of Mercyful Fate’s “Nightmare Be Thy Name”.
