Description
2004 re-issue
Today its impossible to talk about the history of industrial music without mentioning In Slaughter Natives. They were one of the pioneering bands in the symphonic industrial field. Bands like Sophia, Von Thronstahl and the like all owes a lot to In Slaughter Natives but mastermind Jouni Havukainen almost buries everyone else with this apocalyptic album called ‘Enter Now The World’ from 1992. This is a mixture of martial industrial with electronic hints, powerful symphonic and lyrical flights (samples of brass, strings and opera songs) and ambient with deep, rasping vocals. Everything is good on this album and at the same time its unhealthy and devastating. Enter Now The World is no less than a masterpiece, an obligatory album to check out for any amateur of industrial music. In Slaughter Natives captures the listener’s attention within seconds and afterwards you feel abandon, alone and lobotomized.
