Down To The Bone was Quiet Riots heaviest album through their career. Alot of heavy metal bands like Warrant and Motley Crue tried to incorporate albums of grunge into their music, but Quiet Riot steered clear of that and put out a traditional heavy metal album with some bluesy influences, even though it was heavier than before. “Pretty Pack Of Lies” is one of their catchiest songs ever and there are plenty of other great tracks on here like the remake of the Kinks classic “All Day And All Of The Night” and the catchy acoustic title track. The album is much better than Terrified and also beats Guilty Pleasures and Rehab however it failed sales wise but most classic metal bands had poor sales during the grunge era.
