Description
Formed in Frankfrut 1983 by ex-Tokyo vocalist Klaus Luley and keyboard player Franz Keil, the pair began working with guitarist Reinhard Besser who had just come off the road in America with Tony Carey. Having refined their totally Melodic Rock sound to perfection Craaft signed to Epic. Seen by many as Epics answer to Zeno and surprisingly, the band sounded more American than German, combining Night Ranger, Whitesnake and Toto influences to great effect. The debut album featured session appearances by Meat Loaf bassist Steven Buslow and former Pat Travers/Black Jack drummer Sandy Gennaro. The debut album received laudatory reviews and the band toured Europe with Queen. With printed innersleeve
