Description

Playboy was founded in Chicago in 1953, by Hugh Hefner and his associates, and funded in part by a $1,000 loan from Hefner’s mother. Notable for its centerfolds of nude and semi-nude models (Playmates), Playboy played an important role in the sexual revolution and remains one of the world’s best-known brands, having grown into Playboy Enterprises, Inc.

The May 1991 issue features 188 pages written in English and features the Canadian sisters Shannon and Tracy Tweed. Shannon Tweed was playmate of the year in 1982 and lived at the Playboy Mansion for around 14 months as Hugh Hefner’s partner. The Mansion was the location of her first meeting with her future husband, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons. Tweed has been in a relationship with Gene Simmons since 1983. Simmons explained in a 2011 interview, “I need Shannon in my life. Not just because of love and family but because she holds me accountable.” After 28 years together, the couple wed in an outdoor evening ceremony on the crystal lawn of the Beverly Hills Hotel on October 1, 2011. Shannon and Gene has two children; Nicholas Adam Tweed-Simmons and Sophie Alexandra Tweed-Simmons. Besides the Tweed sisters we also find the Chicago IRS agent Liz Pasko dropping her clothes and much more. May 1991 playmate is Yazel Dazzle
