Description

Part 27 in the NWOBHM singles replica series. Limited 500 copies

The Nwobhm act Tnt was formed in Kent in the early 80s as a cover band playing small clubs before starting to lay down some own written material on tape. The English label Ebony records were interested to future one of their tracks for an upcoming compilation album so the track ‘Sorry’ found its way onto the 1983 ‘Metal Warriors’ album. The track with its powerful vocals and impressive twin-guitar attack got the Ebony archrivals namely Neat interested who stole the band from Ebony. Neat throw the band into the Impulse 24 studio to lay down two tracks for their first single that saw the light of day in 1984. The title track was a fairly strong track not far from their compilation track ‘Sorry’. However the B-side ‘Rockin The Night’ felt more commercial and uninspiring. However by the time the release was out, Neat couldn’t promote it properly because they were concentrating on Raven and Venom that had become much in demand at the time. The band faded into oblivion and it hasn’t been confirmed that any of the band members showed up in any other metal acts.
