Ohio’s very own sludge act Witchhelm opens this album with the self-titled track and it absolutely nails the occult doom sound mixed with sludge. This record ranges from the eerie (nice effects in Wychcraft) to the sludgy (Jötunn) to the down-tuned and ultra-heavy (Swamp Bitch). Doomers, you’re going to definitely dig this one as these three dudes just keep getting better and better with every release. Honestly ya’ll you can’t go wrong in the Witchhelm discography.
