Kelly Keagy, better known as drummer/songwriter of mainstream-Rockers Night Ranger. On this debut ‘Time Passes’ the multi-instrumentalist (drums/vocals/guitar/bass) presents us the musical creations of the past years. With high-calibre support by his Night rangers, among others Jack Blade, Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson, the album let's us expect some expertise musicianship and guitarist Brian Bart convinces in his earthy play. Who not expects a revival of 80s-mainstream will be a little disappointed. Keagy presents us with some a lot more varied material. Remarkable the rougher "Anything Goes" and "Before Anybody Knows", the latter surprising with a nicely dry drum-sound.
