Eerily howling winds was the Ancient demo that really made it for the band. The band managed to sell over 700 copies of this cassettes and it was the one that finally secured a record deal for the band. Recorded in August of 1993 at Verftet Lydstudio in Norway and produced by the band themselves. In these early years the band were all about melodic black metal and not the vampire goth image that they would ad to later albums.
