Description
Double album on black vinyls with OBI-strip and poster
Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son was Iron Maidnes most focused album and theire were not a singel wasted moment nor an aimless riff on the album. It’s one of the last Iron Maiden records where every single riff of every single song is hummable, catchy, memorable. In support of the album the band headed out on their Seventh Tour Of A SeventhTour in May of 1988, a tour that saw the band perform for more than two million people worldwide over seven months. The tour kicked off in May of 1988 and this album captures the band live at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis on the 27th of June 1988. This show saw the band Megadeth opening for them. So here you find the band live from the album that probably was the best the band ever delivered so this really was the band at the height of their powers in that first golden age. As such, it represents not just the album but the band as a whole in this beautiful period in their career where they saw themselves transformed from a bar band to legendary and permanent gods of metal on the level of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Judas Priest, represents this era in metal which fell to the blade of the rise of hardcore and grunge and indie rock, represents metal itself.
