This limited picture disc was specially made for the Hail Legions Rise meeting held in Newcastle in the summer of 2025. This also features 3 bonus tracks and the official poster from that event. After 1997’s Album Cast In Stone the mighty Abaddon left Venom and decided it was time to give priority to his own projects, as the owner of his own recording studio and also a manager of many metal bands he felt his energies needed giving to these projects. Throughout his career, he never abandoned continuous composing. The first marks are shown in Holy Man, a song that only exists on the In The Name Of Satan compilation, released in 1994, a period that Venom did not exist either. He founded the band Abaddon and in 2000 he released his first solo album, entitled I’m Legion. The sound is totally different than what we used to listen by Venom. Raw metal with shreds of industrial elements. Then Abaddon formed the Beneath project before returning again in 2016. The All That Rmeains EP was released in 2022 on cd and in 2024 on vinyl. Here Abaddon has been joined by Ken Johnson of die-hard NWOBHM faves Blitzkrieg. Ken spent 15 years with Blitzkrieg touring all over the world and writing numerous albums with the band. Abaddon says: It’s very, very old school Venom. I can’t really help that! It’s got that punk kind of throwaway feel to it, especially in the drums. It’s all first time takes. We don’t sit in the studio for weeks on lodged. The guitar riffs are all pretty much logic in the 80s, we really want it to sound like fun and that’s exactly what it sounds like.
