Speculation about ABBA’s reunion for its 30th anniversary reached its peak before the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2004. That it actually also became a reunion in the form of a short film was more unpredictable. With a great deal of humor and self-distance, all four perch jumped in front of the camera – but they left more room for action for the puppet versions of themselves, as well as a number of fantastic actors – Rik Mayall (The Young Ones/Hemma Värst), Robert Gustafson, Loa Falkman, Sissela Kyhle, Micke Nyqvist , Cecilia Frode and Per Svensson. The film is written and directed by Calle Åstrand and produced by Radical Media UK. Anyone out there that think this mock or make fun of ABBA need to re-think as all ABBA members were on board with it. This will crack you up and give you a kick, a laugh and overall brighten up your day. However there are some crude parts where both oral sex and homosexuality are mentioned so it might not be for everyone. The Last Video is about four hopeful artists trying to get a record contract. With the record company boss and his assistant, they tear off one hit after another, eagerly cheered on by their manager. But it does not go quite as they intended …
