Since they began flying the flag for German thrash in the 80s Accuser have gone on to prove themselves one of the most enduring forces in global metal. Their 2016 album, The Forlorn Divide, is another strong album in the bands discography. If you love your thrash served up like a full on face assault of brutality and aggression then check this one out. With The Forlorn Divide the band shows the younger acts how old school metal should be done. You stay fresh through curiosity, states vocalist/guitarist Frank Thoms. Writing new songs keeps you fresh, and it is always exciting how things develop and how the listener reacts to them afterwards. This process never gets boring. It is always exciting and invites you to try new things. But no matter how much we love Thoms song writing and guitar playing its his vocals that stands out. There are plenty of thrash metal acts around but none really have a singer that actually sounds like Frank Thoms. His aggressive manor suits the composition to perfection. This band released their debut back in 1987 and then 30 years later they release such a strong album like this. This band deserves more, if they had been an American act they would have been huge, just liten to tracks such as the furious opening or the lovely Sulfur Rain and tell me I am wrong.

1. Predawn
2. Lust For Vengeance
3. Unreal Perception
