Description

Deluxe triple vinyl box set with three lps on clear vinyls

This box features three rare live performances by the legendary band Ac/dc. A real must-have item for record collectors and fans of the band in general!

Hungry and tirelessly hard-working, AC/DC toured and recorded constantly in the 1970s. Their first four studio albums – High Voltage (1975), T.N.T. (1975), Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976), Let There Be Rock (1977) and Powerage (1978) – were produced by George Young and his Easybeats partner, Henry Vanda. The Vanda-Young tandem captured the bands raw energy in the studio. At the same time, AC/DCs songs had a straightforward appeal that made them more of a hard rock than a heavy metal band. Mark Evans left the band at the beginning of 1977, with Cliff Williams taking his place. In the fall of 1977, AC/DC released Let There Be Rock, which became their first album to chart in the U.S. Powerage, released in spring of 1978, expanded their audience even further, thanks in no small part to their dynamic live shows. These three discs are all FM radio shows and it shows how intense Ac/dc could be. Disc 1 were Scott at Agora Ballroom in Cleveland on the 22nd of Aug. 77. Disc 2 were recorded at the Paradise Rock Club, Boston on the 21st of August 1978 a WBCN Radio recording. Disc 3 were recorded at the Veterans Memorial, Columbus 10th September 1978 a WQFM96 broadcast
