Description

Still sealed digipak. Limited 100 numbered copies

With Frehleys Comet dead and buried, Ace was able to capitalize on his own name with Trouble Walkin. His label finally agreed to drop the Frehley’s Comet moniker and allow Ace to shine on his own. The material Frehley started to write for his upcoming solo album was more rock driven and not as commercially viable as those from the 2 previous albums. Here we have 7 demo tracks from those early demo sessions. Listen to the opening track Shot Full Of Rock, at the time it was one of Ace’s heavier numbers. He also fool arounds with the Jeff Lynne written tune Do Ya. Trouble Walkin was not a commercial success when it was released because acts such as Winger, Skid Row, Whitesnake and the like dominated the charts and the old Kiss guitarist seemed to be out of date among the hair metal fans. However when the Trouble Walking tour started in Poughkeepsie on the 16th of February he still had his Kiss army of fans showing up at and enjoying the Space man’s music. This album features a show from The Living Room in Providence on the 18th of February (third show on the tour). Ace performs 4 tracks from his new album, a few Frehley comets tunes as well as material from his 1978 album and ofcourse some well chosen Kiss tunes.
