Official Polish tape. Clear cassette with white texture Official cassette version of Acid Drinkers eight album. The album was recorded in mid Winter with some of the recording equipment placed outdoors. The result was an extremely hard and heavy, but very modern as well. The tracks sounded very deep, hypnotic, and not without a reason the press compared them to the newer works of Sepultura. Acid Drinkers are to this day the best and the most spectacular thrash metal band in Poland. During their long and eventful career they played over 500 concerts, including still well remembered gigs at Jarocin festival, Metalmania, Wgorzewo, Przystanek Woodstock or Odjazdy. They supported such metal giants as Deep Purple, Megadeth, Bruce Dickinson, Sepultura, Paradise Lost or Slayer. Acid Drinkers won Fryderyk Award (Polish equivalent of Grammy Award) in 1998, 2000 and 2004 for Best Hard & Heavy Act. In 1998 they also won Zloty Baczek – an award given by TV Channel 2 – in Best band category. Together with Hey, Kazik Staszewski, Edyta Bartosiewicz and O.N.A. they were acclaimed the best five bands of the 90s in a poll published in Tylko Rock, most important rock magazine in Poland.
