This is a real treat for all fans of Agent Steel. This compilation features the bands their 3 early demos (including the one still recorded under the name Sceptre) and the Metal Hammer Roadshow live recording from 1986. Founded in 1984 in Los Angeles by vocalist Johnny Cyriis and initially operating under the name Sanctuary, a name the band recorded a 3-track demo, The Sceptre, under. The band endured a host of line-up changes and even a name change before recording two more demos 144,000 Gone and Second Demo (both released in 1984). It was the strength of these two demos that the band managed to ink a deal with Combat Records where the group released their first full-length outing, Skeptics Apocalypse, in 1985. Pairing Iron Maiden-esque guitar harmonies with the frenzied rush of speed metal, the album earned accolades both at home and abroad. It was followed by the EP Mad Locust Rising, released in early 1986. On this album we also have 5 songs recorded live during the Metal Hammer Roadshow Tour, at Bochum in Germany on the 12th of May 1986. A must for all fans of this band
