Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden Matti Alfonzetti began his musical career in his early teens playing bass in the local Hard Rock band Heavy Waters. Later on, he was a member of the bands Bam Bam Boys, Water Front, Jagged Edge, Skintrade and Boxer. In 2000 Alfonzetti’s first solo album Ready’saw the light of day and then fast forward to 2011 and Alfonzetti’s third solo album, titled Here Comes The Night are released. Musically and vocaly its much in the same style as his first solo album but its also a guitar driven album, pushing the songs into melodic hard rock territory. In particular the opening riffs of the title track and Here Comes The Night say everything about the levels of intensity dominating the album. Overall this album is a well planned, well arranged and well performed AOR/melodic hard rock album, verifying that the vocalist had very good reason for taking the time to develop Here Comes The Night. No question, Alfonzetti and Flores are a winning team.
