European 2017 re-issue on red vinyl with gatefold cover

The classic band Alice Cooper with vocalist Vincent Damon Furnier — who would soon begin calling himself Alice Cooper — guitarist Mike Bruce, guitarist Glen Buxton, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith, moved to California in 1968. There, the group met Shep Gordon, who became their manager, and Frank Zappa, who signed Alice Cooper to his Straight Records imprint. They released their first album, Pretties for You, in 1969. Nor ‘Pretties For You’ or the follow up album ‘Easy Action’ in 1970 reflects any of the grotesque hard rock that the band soon would be legendary for instead its an earnest but flawed stab at pscyhedelia that one tracks like ‘Levity Ball’, ‘Reflected’ etc really catches fire. After the first two albums the band would relocate to Detroit and refining their stage show. They would sign to Warner brothers and make music history.
