American metalcore act All That Remains returned in 2010 with their fifth album, We Are Many. This was a highly-anticipated album as their previous album, Overcome, sold more than 240 000 copies. This album doesnt sound as radio friendly as Overcome but it shows a band that hasnt forgotten their roots. Phil Labonte and his pals are a bit too extreme for the casual listener. Labonte provides some guttural growls to distinctive, sharp almost demonic screams and shrieks that can cut through walls of glass. Musically its close to Killswitch Engage, a band that hil Labonte once auditioned for but still a b it more extreme in style. Fans of the bands earlier work should really dig the heavier and more aggressive style that the band has returned to while its still good enough to attract the lots of fans that loved the Overcome album.
