Description
100 pages written in Swedish
The first issue of the Swedish movie magazine Allt Om Film / All About Movies was released in the summer of 2007 in a printed run somewhere around 10 to 15 000 copies. 4 or 5 issues were released during its first year, ten issues during 2008 and 5 issues during 2009 before the magazine changed name to Cinema and ceased to exist in 2011. The history goes back to 2002 and the magazine Allt Om Dvd that released its first issue that year in a printed run of 30 000 copies. In 2005 the magazine was merged with the magazine Stardust. The Allt Om Dvd and Stardust magazine were then merged with a third magazine called Ingmar and became Allt Om Film / All About The Movie. So in just 5 years these 3 Swedish movie magazines had gone from being 3 different magazine to just 1 and still being printed in less than half the amount of the first issue of Allt Om Dvd alone. And after another 6 years, when the Cinema magazine released its last issue, it was obvious that it was not economically feasible to run a major film magazine in Sweden in a printed form.
This is the actual first issue of Allt Om film and it features reviews of Live Free Or Die Hard, Hostel 2 and Eli Roth, The men who built Hollywood, The Simpsons, French noir with Rififi, Dancemania (the best dance movies of the 70s and 80s), Leila Khaled documentary. The magazine also has a section about DVD players, home theatre systems and other hardware as well as movie reviews. Perfect readable copy with moderate wear but not torn.
