Description

Anachronaeon was formed in a town in Sweden called Vasteras under the name Human Failure and recorded one self titled demo in 2002. The band then decided to take a more serious direction with their third demo and changed name to Anachronaeon. A strange name for a strange band. Anachronaeon mixes the Swedish melodic death metal with melancholic Finnish metal ala Sentenced with some experimental progressive ideas. The band combines in a perfect way the heavy with the death metal vocals together with lot of melody and clean vocals. It makes the album highly coherent, even though they use many different styles and sounds, they never sound like anybody else. This album is for any open-minded metaller but will certainly irritate some metal purist
