Description

Anachronaeon was formed in a town in Sweden called Vasteras under the name Human Failure and recorded one self titled demo in 2002. The band then decided to take a more serious direction with their third demo and changed name to Anachronaeon. A strange name for a strange band. Anachronaeon mixes the Swedish melodic death metal with melancholic Finnish metal ala Sentenced with some experimental progressive ideas. The band combines in a perfect way the heavy with the death metal vocals together with lot of melody and clean vocals. Their second album As The Last Human Spot In Me Dies received great reviews and Fatal forum magazine gave the album 10/10. With their third album The Futile Quest For Immortality they take another big step forward, both in song writing and production. With this album Anachronaeon mix a raw energetic black metal-nerve with epic melodies and a heavy metal platform to continue developing their own sound, exceeding their previous productions. The album has a red thread without being conceptual, about mankind through a misanthropic perspective.
