Rare album on the small Aim Records label with biography insert

Anette Ax from Österforse in Sollefteå started performing just 7 years old. As a teenagers she moved to Stockholm and played with groups like Scaramouche, Factum and Ax-ident. Then she moved to Arizona and after a year she moved back to Sweden and Karlstad where she played with Monsun and Slick Stuff. Her first record appearance was with the Slick Stuff single, Youre Not Worth It, in 1987. She then moved to Upplands Väsby where she released a couple of singles in 1987. Then she travelled back to Usa where she recorded a single with the group Network. Producer Eddie King heard the single and wanted to produce a complete album so while in Usa she entered the Kingsound Studios in Hollywood and recorded this full length album with producer Eddie King. The Love Was There album also includes the two tracks from the Network single. Musicians on the Kingsound session were none other than George Marinelli and John Molo from Bruce Hornsby’s backing band, Rich Eames from Pointer Sisters on piano, Cliff Hugo from Ray Charles and Henry Newmark and Michael Thompson who have performed with one of Anette Ax’s favourite artists; Cher. Other favourite artists of Anette was Survivor, Bad English, Journey, Bon Jovi and Dokken. Anette Ax music should please fans of melodic rock. West Coast and AOR fans who loves female vocalists. Her son Per Ax would later become drummer for death metal act Excruciate
