2020 reissue with one bonus track

Influenced by the early Bay Area Thrash Metal and N.W.O.B.H.M. scenes and more specifically bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Anthrax, Overkill, Pantera, Testament and Annihilator, Angelus Apatrida have crafted their career in their Spanish homeland so far with two independent, self-released albums as well as countless live appearances at larger national festivals (Lorca Rock, Alternavigo, Metalway Festival, etc.). Their third album, Clockwork, was the first to be released and promoted by a major label. While playing thrash which is clearly derivative of the American thrash movement of the 1980s and early 90s, they’re not trying to live the 80s, but instead update that sound into something heavy as hell and relevant to 2010. The band’s take on thrash metal sounds like a cross between Pantera, Overkill and Kreator and with a vocalist who wants to be a bit of Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield at the same time (but with an accent). Clockwork is filled with tracks that are balls to the wall heavy while still being melodically interesting.
