Apocalyptica have had some guest vocalist on their singles, names such as Sandra Nasic (Guno Apes), Matze Sayer (Farmer Boys), Nina Hagen, Ville Valo (HIM) and Lauri (The Rasmus) have all been guests on Apocalyptica tracks. Now its time for Marta Jandova from the German rock band Die Happy and Manu (Emmanuelle Monet) to step in. The track Wie Weit, How Far, En Vie and Quutamo are all the same track based on the track Quutamo then sang in different language. The song begins with fat riffs, that could be mistaken for a guitar. The whole song is almost hypnotic, as a certain lead melody is almost constantly repeated. First out is the German version, the the original instrumental version, then an english version and last is the French version of the track. Apocalyptica purest will probably love the original Quuatamo version as they seems to hate vocalists. And of course its a big difference between Apocalypticas music with or without a vocalist as the music is mixed into the background when theres someone singing. On the instrumental version you will find a cello that does the vocal melodies and it fit more than ideally into the entire sound picture. This makes you wonder if the human vocal lines/lyrics were written after the track were finished. Anyway with or without a singer its still a deep and emotional song
