Armageddas second output ’Only True Believers’ is much thicker, less distorted and more bassy then their debut. ‘Refuse the Blood of Jesus’ is a fast story with lot’s of drum-pattern changes and much other variations. Directly you hear that Armagedda have spent their energy on speed and brutality this time. The drumming is a chapter of its own, because it’s much variated and very good. One of the best things about Armagedda is that the drummer and the guitarist play well together, it really sounds tight as fuck. They have developed their music quite much since the strong debut, which was slower and more un-melodious death-Celtic Frost-metal oriented. I would also say that this production is top-notch, dammit. Sweden shows once again that they are a top-country when it comes to black metal.
