Astrofaes is an Ukrainian pagan black metal band, established in 1996 in Kharkiv. The band features a member of Drudkh, which you should already know is one of the best black metal bands out there today. Knowing this information should already tell you that Astrofaes is something that is top quality. The bands debut album, Dying Emptions Domain, however sounds more like another Ukrainian act, Hate Forest, than Drudkh. The music is raw, violent and riff focused but also backed up by keyboards. This is a fine debut but the band would go on to greater things later on. Here they dont really reach the scales of their more famous comrades
