Rare Finnish test pressing. Testpressings are very hard to obtain and are often only made in 5-25 copies. A testpressing or an acetate is a crown jewel in any vinyl collection. Mega rare testpressing that comes with plain white labels with handwritten info on them.

Atom Dog was an Oulu based hard rock band built on former members of Luther amd Riff Raff. They were formed in 1988 and a year later they released their debut single “Run To Me” with the effort to make it look like an American band but a bit tongue-in-cheek. The two tracks were recorded at Soundmix Studio with background vocals by Elvis “Steve Ray” Lassila and Top. The single was produced by the legendary Nixu Nikula (R.I.P.) so this two tracker comes with very good production. The music itself is solid hardrock. The line-up at the time were Riku Kukkonen and Pete West (guitars), Juha “Jupi” Hjelt (bass and vocals) and Jakko Vetämäjärvi (drums). The A-side track, Feel No Love, became a small hit on the local radio stations in Northern Finland and the band made gigs all over Finland. However this single was the only release they made and the band dissolved in 1992. Riku Kukkonen played with The Kirka Band for a year while bassplayer and vocalist J.J Hjelt moved to Helsinki and formed Atomic Dick Power Trio. They band have then made reunion gigs at the local Oulo Pop History Festival in 2009, 2012 and 2014. By checking out some reunion material you will find what a tight union this band were, two great guitarists and a tight rhythm work of Jaakko Vetämäjärvi while JJ. Hjelt still has a strong and suitable voice. To bad there only was one single back in their days
