Description
Blue marbled vinyl. Limited 250 copies
Founded by ex-Death drummer Christ Reifert shortly after he relocated to San Francisco in 1987, the group was rounded out by guitarists Eric Cutler and Danny Coralles and bassist Ken Sorvari, with Reifert also handling vocal duties. The band recorded their first demo in 1987 and followed it up with the ‘Critical Madness’ demo in 1988. It was that demo that got the band signed to the Uk based indie label Peaceville and they released their debut, Severed Survival, two years later. ‘Severed Survival’ is a filth ridden classic of Death Metal. This rare album features a rough recording done during their tour for their first album when they were touring with Paradise Lost. Recorded at the Wrexham Memorial Hall in Wales on the 22nd of September 1990. The best part for any Autopsy fan is that the live recording includes the rare track Rotting Grave.
