Description

Avalon from Handen, Haninge, Stockholm was another high quality AOR-band with a great singer. They won a local music competition in 1987 and among the jury was Bobby Ljunggren a big Swedish song writer. Bobby Ljunggren has written no less than 38 tracks to the Swedish part of the Eurovision song contest and his tracks has won 5 times between 1995 and 2010. Bobby Ljunggren has been working with major Scandinavian artists like Carola, Jill Johnson, Shirley Clamp, Alcazar and Sanna Nielsen just to name a few. Bobby saw something in Avalon and made sure he offered them a record deal on Little Big Apple music. Their first single ‘A View Of America’ was released in 3 formats in 1989 and they followed it by ‘Baby Youre My Love’ single on Eurozont records in 1990. This second single was recorded in Trippel studion and produced by Bobby Ljunggren
