This must be heard to believe, its free jazz / electronica / dance / folk-style etc. The album opens with The Number of the Beast and its clear female vocals gives the lyrics some unique phrasing. Otherwise theres so much her to like and dislike. Flute, bossa nova, acapella, clarinet and so on. You new know what to expect. The Piece Of Mind classic To Tame A Land sounds great and suddenly comes such a strange solo that more or less ruins the song. Children Of The Damned swings as much as James Last, Wrathchild sounds like it comes out of a Austin Power movie, Aces High could be a psychedelic dancefloor number, The Clairvoyant has guitars and drums quite close to the original but then comes a flamenco part. So much on this disc is lovely done and then theres parts that just feels weird. Some things fits so well together while some solos etc feels out of place.
