Description
Rare original 1989 Dutch pressing on Epic Records with printed innersleeve
Formed in Los Angeles, California, USA, in the late 80s, Beau Nasty typified the region’s fascination with all things bombastic and overwrought. Playing slick, over-produced hard rock, Mark Anthony Fretz (vocals), Brian Young (guitar (Talisman, Jeff Scott Soto)), Doug Baker (bass (Vice, Kuni)), Mike Terrana (drums (Axel Rudi Pell, Artension, Hanover Fist, Hardline, Kuni, Masterplan, Rage, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Lukather, Tony McAlpine)), George Bernhardt (guitar) made their debut in 1989 with Dirty But Well Dressed. The tune Shake It made it onto radio and video rotation. Lead vocalist Mark Anthony Fretz said: When I got Beau Nasty together, I chose the best musicians I had ever played with. Beau Nasty now represents everything I’ll ever need. The album also features a swaggering cover of The Clovers 1959 classic, Love Potion #9.
